DESCRIPTION:NOTICE OF\nPUBLIC HEARING\nLorain Bilingual Preparatory Academy\nIDEA Part B Funds \nThe Board is required by federal and state law to hold a Public Hearing to allow for public comment on the use of IDEA Part B\nfunds.\nThe Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting. \nOctober 26\, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern \nThe hearing was noticed in The Morning Journal on July 1\, 2023\, on the School Website\, and on the doors of the school. \n  \nTest Preparation Time Limit Waiver \nPursuant to ORC 3301.0729\, there is a limit to the amount of time in which schools may engage in test preparation for students; approximately 2% of total instructional hours\, with some exceptions. \nThe school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide assistance to the students who need the additional testing preparation time. \nThe Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for the waiver\, and invites the public to provide commentary and/or opinion. \nThe Public Hearing is included on the agenda of the\nOctober Board Meeting:\nOctober 26\, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern\nLocation:\nLorain Bilingual Preparatory Academy\n307 W. 7th Street\nLorain\, OH 44052 \n  \nDownload IDEA Part B Funds PDF»\nDownload Test Preparation Time Limit Waiver PDF»
