PUBLIC HEARING
Lorain Bilingual Preparatory Academy
IDEA Part B Funds
The Board is required by federal and state law to hold a Public Hearing to allow for public comment on the use of IDEA Part B
funds.
The Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting.
October 26, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern
The hearing was noticed in The Morning Journal on July 1, 2023, on the School Website, and on the doors of the school.
Test Preparation Time Limit Waiver
Pursuant to ORC 3301.0729, there is a limit to the amount of time in which schools may engage in test preparation for students; approximately 2% of total instructional hours, with some exceptions.
The school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide assistance to the students who need the additional testing preparation time.
The Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for the waiver, and invites the public to provide commentary and/or opinion.
